If you’ve been reading my site for any time at all you’re probably aware there’s two key supplements I recommend to all my athletes, and to anyone who trains hard in the gym and/or plays hard on the pitch.
Those two are BCAAs (branched chain amino acids) and L-Glutamine. Take 10 grams each, BCAAs before training and Glutamine right after. There’s many other supplements that you can and possibly should use, but these two are probably most important.
BCAAs will prevent muscle breakdown and support anabolism while optimizing your fat burning efforts. Jonas Gudni, one of our players at KR, said he’s never been in such good shape as when he used the BCAAs. You can just see the difference in lean mass within days.
L-Glutamine apparently helps with recovery, improves focus, supports the immune system, is healthy for the G.I Tract and can help boost natural growth hormone levels.
Now what’s the Nina Tip? Well all the above is really valuable in and of itself, since it’ll allow you to get the most out of your training efforts, get the best ROI on your time and effort, so to speak.
I tell all my athletes and clients this: “Why take out 75% if you can get 110%? THAT’s the difference these two make!”
BUT, today we will top this, with something even better…
There’s new research on the combination of BCAAs and the amino acid taurine. Says: ‘DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) and muscle damage was reduced/limited in the group taking the combo over those taking just BCAAs or a placebo.’
If you want to get ultra anabolic, try using the standard protocol: 10 grams BCAAs before training and matches, 10 grams glutamine after, PLUS taking 5 grams of BCAAs together with 2 grams of taurine 3 x a day. I tested this and can tell the difference right away…it works.
